Student Wellbeing Hub Celebrated Mental Health Day with Inspiring
Workshops
Mental Health Day, observed globally each year, serves
as a powerful reminder of the importance of mental well-
being in our daily lives. It aims to raise awareness, reduce
stigma, and promote open conversations around mental
health issues such as anxiety, depression, stress, and
emotional burnout. The day encourages individuals,
institutions, and communities to prioritize psychological
health just as they would physical health. Educational
events, workshops, and wellness activities are often held
to equip people with coping strategies, promote resilience,
and foster supportive environments.
The Student Wellbeing Hub at Mansoura National University organized a vibrant and impactful
day of activities in celebration of Mental Health Day, held in Building A, Hall 31. The event
aimed to promote self-care, emotional resilience, and mental wellness among students, offering a
supportive environment for growth and self-reflection. The day featured two highly engaging
workshops:
• Self-Esteem and Confidence Boosting Workshop: This session guided students in
developing a more positive self-image and building the confidence needed to face daily
challenges with resilience and optimism.
• Emotional Regulation Skills Session: Participants were introduced to practical, evidence-
based strategies to manage emotions, reduce stress, and maintain inner balance—even in
high-pressure academic environments.
Filled with positive energy and meaningful discussions, the event offered students a unique
opportunity to pause, reflect, and take proactive steps toward improving their mental well-being.
The turnout and enthusiasm demonstrated the growing awareness of mental health as a key
component of student success and life satisfaction. This initiative is part of the Student Wellbeing
Hub’s ongoing efforts to support students not only academically but also emotionally—
empowering them to become the best version of themselves in and beyond the university.
