Faculty of Pharmacy Marked the International Day of Persons with
Disabilities

In alignment with the International Day of
Persons with Disabilities, observed
annually on December 3rd, the Faculty of
Pharmacy at Mansoura National University
reaffirmed its dedication to promoting
inclusion, equity, and the rights of persons
with disabilities. To commemorate the
occasion, the Student Wellbeing Hub
launched a student-led awareness video
across social media platforms, aiming to
foster a deeper understanding of the
challenges faced by individuals with disabilities. The video presented key facts, highlighted legal
rights, and addressed social barriers, with the goal of building a more empathetic and inclusive
academic environment. This initiative underscored the importance of empowering people with
disabilities to lead change, make informed decisions, and advocate for inclusive development.
Over the years, individuals with disabilities and their organizations have played a pivotal role in
advancing community-based reforms and promoting accessible services. By supporting inclusive
consultation, data-driven policies, and accountability, the faculty contributed to the global
movement striving toward a just and accessible society for all.
