Entrepreneurship Day at Mansoura National University: Inspiring
Innovation and Growth
On November 25, 2024, Mansoura National University proudly hosted an Entrepreneurship
Day, a dynamic event organized by the Entrepreneurs Club (E-Club) under the patronage of
Prof. Cherif Youssef Khater, University President, the leadership of Assoc. Prof. Ahmed El-
Sheikh, Director of the PharmD (Clinical Pharmacy) Program, and the supervision of Dr. Randa
Hani, E-Club Coordinator. The event aimed to emphasize the vital role of entrepreneurship as a
catalyst for economic growth and innovation. Through a rich program of activities, the initiative
encouraged entrepreneurial thinking, offered practical learning experiences, and fostered
engagement among students, faculty, and professionals.
Highlights of the Event:
• Awareness and Promotional Campaigns: Designed to educate the university community
on the impact of entrepreneurship on both social and economic development.
• Guest Lecture: Delivered by a leading entrepreneur in collaboration with the Academy of
Scientific Research and Technology, offering valuable real-world insights.
• "Success Stories" Segment: Featured inspiring journeys of entrepreneurs who turned
ideas into successful ventures, motivating attendees to pursue their own paths.
Event Objectives:
1. Promote Entrepreneurial Culture through awareness campaigns highlighting
entrepreneurship's societal value.
2. Showcase Success Stories that inspire students by illustrating real entrepreneurial
achievements.
3. Build Professional Networks by fostering connections among entrepreneurs, students,
and academic staff.
4. Encourage Innovation and Creativity by presenting forward-thinking projects and
initiatives.
5. Provide Practical Tools and Resources to support aspiring entrepreneurs in developing
business and project management skills.
Participation and Impact:
The event attracted the active participation of 50 students and faculty members, all of whom
expressed appreciation for the event’s organization and the richness of its content. Their
enthusiastic involvement underscored the growing interest in entrepreneurship across the
university community.
