Students Innovate in Pharmaceutical Organic Chemistry:
Creative Video Projects on Drug Design and Plant-Based Products
The Faculty of Pharmacy, Mansoura National University, continues to lead educational
innovation with a co-curricular activity designed for Level 1 students enrolled in the
Pharmaceutical Organic Chemistry-2 (PC-204) course. This engaging initiative emphasizes
applying theoretical knowledge to real-world pharmaceutical and botanical products through
research and multimedia communication.
Educational Impact: This activity bridges the gap between theoretical coursework and practical
pharmaceutical applications. It empowers students with skills vital for their future careers.
By encouraging students to suggest realistic chemical modifications, the activity nurtures an
innovation-driven mindset aligned with the demands of pharmaceutical research and development
(R&D) and green pharmaceutical initiatives. This initiative reflects the Faculty's commitment to
experiential learning methodologies that prepare students for the ever-evolving landscape of the
pharmaceutical sciences.
