Microbiology Course – Level 2
Interactive Educational Games
“Microbiology Learning through Games & Workshops”
The Faculty of Pharmacy organized a series of interactive educational activities within the
Microbiology course. The aim was to reinforce theoretical knowledge through game-based
learning, laboratory workshops, and student-designed educational tools. Students were divided
into groups and tasked with:
• Game-Based Learning: Students designed educational cards, quizzes, and board-style games
to review microbiology concepts in a fun, engaging way.
• Laboratory Workshops: Students actively participated in lab sessions, applying
microbiological techniques and presenting their findings.
• Educational Posters & Infographics: Teams created visual materials to explain microbial
growth, diagnostic methods, and antimicrobial resistance.
Each group's work was evaluated based on predetermined criteria. The activity achieved the
following results:
• Enhanced comprehension of microbiology concepts through active participation.
• Strengthened the connection between theoretical content and practical applications.
• Improved teamwork, communication, and presentation skills.
• Fostered creativity and innovation in designing scientific content.
• Encouraged problem-solving and critical thinking in a collaborative environment.
