“Body Atlas Project: An Innovative Mini-Magazine Exhibition Bridging

                                           Anatomy & Histology Learning”

The Faculty of Pharmacy proudly launched an interactive educational initiative titled the “Body
Atlas Project”, an interdisciplinary activity designed to deepen students’ understanding of human
body systems through creativity, collaboration, and research-based learning. Students were
organized into groups of 30, with each group assigned a specific body system to explore in detail.
The core objective was for each team to design a mini-magazine (both soft and hard copy) that
shows the anatomical structures and histological features of their assigned system. The project
culminated in a vibrant class exhibition, where students presented their work through visually
engaging booths, fostering peer-to-peer learning and academic interaction with instructors.

The Body Atlas Project action plan emphasized research, creativity, and teamwork. Students
utilized reputable anatomy and histology resources such as Kenhub and TeachMeAnatomy,
while leveraging design platforms like Canva and PowerPoint to craft professional-quality
magazines. Each mini magazine ranged between 6 to 10 pages, featuring structured sections
including an Introduction, detailed Anatomy and Histology sections with labeled diagrams and
tissue slides, a creative bonus section with fun facts and clinical applications, and a comprehensive
               References list ensuring academic integrity.

To ensure high-quality outputs, detailed rubric was shared with students, assessing aspects such as
cover design, content accuracy, clarity of illustrations, creative engagement, and teamwork during
both presentations. The Body Atlas Project not only enhanced students’ comprehension of human
anatomy and histology but also equipped them with essential skills in scientific communication,
digital design, and collaborative presentation. The exhibition day was a vibrant academic
celebration, reflecting the students’ dedication, creativity, and deepened appreciation for the
intricate structures of the human body.
