Project Implementation
• Student Grouping & Topic Selection: Students were
divided into groups of five. Each group selected a first
aid topic such as burns, wounds, dehydration, choking,
seizures, or hypoglycemia.
• Activity Design: Groups choose between three
modes of implementation:
1.Recording awareness videos (role-play format)
2.Designing awareness posters and signs for campus
distribution
3.Conducting awareness campaigns in schools,
supported by presentations, flashcards, and
animations
• Content Development: Students researched their
topics using course notes, textbooks, and credible
medical sources, ensuring concise and reliable content.
• Review & Feedback: All videos, posters, and presentations were uploaded for instructor
review, with feedback provided for editing and refinement.
• Final Evaluation: Groups presented their outcomes in a final discussion, with assessment
based on clarity, creativity, teamwork, and community impact.
• Knowledge Sharing: Finalized materials (videos, posters, presentations) were archived
for future student cohorts and disseminated to wider audiences.
Educational Impact
The activity enhanced students’ practical knowledge, confidence, and teamwork skills, while
promoting peer-to-peer and community health education. By transforming first aid theory into
creative, interactive formats, students gained the ability to communicate life-saving practices
effectively across different audiences. The project further fostered a culture of social responsibility
and active learning, ensuring that participants are not only academically prepared but also capable
of contributing to community well-being.
