Visit to ED Pharma Factory
As part of the Scientific Team’s commitment to bridging theory with practice, a field
visit was organized to ED Pharma Pharmaceutical Factory on July 15, 2025. The
visit, under the patronage of Prof. Cherif Khater, University President, and leadership
of Assoc. Prof. Ahmed El-Sheakh, Director of Pharm D program (Clinical Pharmacy),
with the supervision of Dr. Bassant Maher, Coordinator of the PSA and Dr. Randa
Hany, aimed to enhance students’ understanding of pharmaceutical production, quality
standards, and control measures.
The students toured key departments under the guidance of the factory Staff including
Raw Material, Production, Quality Control, Research & Development, and Packaging
Departments. This visit provided valuable hands-on insights into the pharmaceutical
industry, reinforcing the essential link between academic study and professional
practice.
