Organic Chemistry I Course – Level 1
“3D Modeling & Pharmaceutical Brochure Project”

The Faculty of Pharmacy organized an educational activity within the “Pharmaceutical Organic
Chemistry I” course to deepen students’ understanding of core organic chemistry concepts through
hands-on experience. Students were divided into groups and tasked with:

• 3D Modeling of Chemical Bonds and Organic Molecules: Utilizing computer software to
visualize molecular structures and bond formations in three dimensions.
• Creation of Informational Brochures: Designing educational leaflets about a specific drug,
covering its manufacturing process, therapeutic uses, and side effects.

Each group’s work was evaluated based on predetermined criteria. The activity achieved the
following outcomes:

• Enhanced comprehension of chemical bonding and organic compounds through interactive 3D
visualization.
• Strengthened the connection between theoretical principles and practical pharmaceutical
applications.
• Fostered teamwork and collaborative skills among participants.
• Improved abilities in research, analysis, and scientific communication.
• Stimulated creativity and innovation in presenting scientific content.
