Entrepreneurs Club Launches "MNU E-TENT": A Ramadan Series

                                   Empowering the Next Generation of Innovators




               In celebration of the holy month of Ramadan, Mansoura National University proudly launched
               the first season of its virtual Ramadan series, MNU E-TENT, an initiative spearheaded by the
               Entrepreneurship  Center  and  the  Entrepreneurs  Club.  This  inspiring  program  provided  a
               vibrant digital platform for aspiring entrepreneurs to explore the full spectrum of innovation—
               from idea conception to real-world impact. Held online every Friday during Ramadan, the series
               attracted a diverse audience of students, innovators, academics, and professionals. The initiative
               was held under the patronage of Prof. Cherif Khater, University President, and led by Assoc.
               Prof.  Ahmed  El-Sheakh,  Director  of  the  Entrepreneurship  Center  and  Pharm  D  (Clinical
               Pharmacy) Program. The program was coordinated by Dr. Randa Hany, who played a key role
               in organizing and moderating several sessions. Each episode featured prominent figures in the
               entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem, offering participants first-hand insights, mentorship,
               and practical strategies for transforming ideas into viable ventures.


               Season Highlights of MNU E-TENT:



               1. “Start with Your Idea”


               The opening session set the tone for the series, focusing on the core principles of entrepreneurship,
               including idea generation, team formation, and effective pitching. Guest speakers included:
                   •   Dr.  Afnan  Barakat  –  Director,  Entrepreneurship  and  Innovation  Center,  Suez  Canal
                       University

                   •   Dr. Nehal Hreidy – Lecturer of Marketing & Management, Horus University; Certified
                       Entrepreneurship Trainer


               The session was moderated by Dr. Randa Hany, who facilitated a rich discussion on the building
               blocks of entrepreneurial success.


               2. “Empowering Women Through Innovation”


               This  special  episode  highlighted  the  critical  role  of  women  in  the  innovation  space.
               Dr. Abeer El-Laithy, founder of the Momken Platform, shared her remarkable journey—from
               initial concept to participation in Shark Tank, and how Momken has made a tangible impact on
               local communities by empowering marginalized groups through technology and training.
