Signing of a Cooperation Protocol Between the Faculty of Pharmacy and

the Egyptian-Dutch Pharmaceutical Industries Company

As part of Mansoura National
University’s strategic vision to strengthen
academic education and expand
opportunities for students to refine their
professional skills, the Faculty of
Pharmacy signed a joint cooperation
protocol with the Egyptian-Dutch
Pharmaceutical Industries (ED
Pharma) on Thursday morning, July
15. The agreement was formalized under
the patronage of Prof. Cherif Khater,
University President, and the leadership
of Assoc. Prof. Ahmed El-Sheakh,
Director of Pharm D (Clinical Pharmacy)
Program. The signing ceremony was
attended by Dr. Randa Hani,
Entrepreneurship and Training
Coordinator, Dr. Basant Maher, Protocol Coordinator, and Dr. Khaled Al-Khouli, Chairman of
the Board of ED Pharma.

This cooperation aims to deepen the partnership between academia and the pharmaceutical
industry, thereby enriching the integration of theoretical learning with modern practical
applications. It is designed to prepare highly qualified pharmaceutical professionals who meet the
highest standards of quality and professionalism. The protocol includes:

• Specialized training programs for students in pharmaceutical manufacturing, quality
assurance, research and development, and innovation.
• Access to the latest technologies and globally approved practices in pharmaceutical
production.

Commenting on the initiative, Assoc. Prof. Ahmed El-Sheakh emphasized that this partnership
marks a qualitative step forward in developing pharmaceutical education. He noted that it will
provide an integrated learning environment combining academic knowledge with hands-on
professional experience, aligning with rapid developments in the pharmaceutical industry at both
local and regional levels. This cooperation reflects Mansoura National University’s commitment
