Mansoura National University Strengthened Regional Entrepreneurship Ties
Through Ripple Program and Arab Academy for Science and Technology
Events
Mansoura National University continued to expand its role in the regional entrepreneurial
ecosystem. it actively participated in multiple high-impact initiatives organized by the Arab
Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) in collaboration with
prominent partners . These initiatives, supported by the League of Arab States, the National Bank
of Egypt, and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID Egypt), aimed
to build the capacity of university entrepreneurship centers across Egypt and the broader Middle
East and North Africa region.
Participation Highlights:
• First Ripple Program: Held on August 4–5, 2024, at the AASTMT Smart Village campus,
Mansoura National University's Entrepreneurship Club participated in the first phase of the
Ripple Program, designed to equip entrepreneurship supporters with tools to help establish and
grow university innovation hubs. The program targeted both new and existing entrepreneurship
clubs and centers in Egyptian and regional universities.
• Second Ripple Program: From October 16–18, 2024. This phase focused on developing
creative leadership skills, empowering academic staff to support student-led innovation and
build impactful projects. The event also fostered knowledge exchange and encouraged public-
private partnerships.

• Third Ripple Rally Between November 27–30, 2024, the university concluded its
participation in Ripple Rally, an advanced training program aimed at strengthening the
operations of entrepreneurship and incubation centers across the Arab region.
• On September 11, 2024, Mansoura National University’s Entrepreneurship Club and Rally
Team participated in the Entrepreneurship Conference hosted at the AASTMT Alexandria
campus.
Led by Assoc. Prof. Ahmed ElSheikh, along with Dr. Heba Samir, Mr. Hassan Abou El-Wafa,
and Mr. Mohamed Anwar, the delegation joined more than 55 speakers from 12 countries, 25
investment partners, and 35 university entrepreneurship centers. The conference featured over 55
startup showcases, enabling students and young innovators to network with investors and pitch
their ventures .
