Mansoura National University at Akhbar El Youm Higher Education Fair

Under the patronage of Prof. Cherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University and

Mansoura National University, both universities participated in the 8th edition of the Akhbar El
Youm Higher Education Fair, held on August 1–2, 2024, at the Small and Medium Enterprises Hall
of the Egyptian General Exhibition Authority in Nasr City. The event was inaugurated under the
patronages of Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly and attended by several high-profile officials,
including Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education; Eng. Abdel Sadeq El-Shorbagy,
Chairman of the National Press Authority; Mr. Islam Afifi, Chairman of Akhbar El Youm; and Mr.
Rifaat Fayyad, General Supervisor of the Exhibition.

Mansoura National University was represented by:

• Assoc. Prof. Ahmed El-Sheikh, Director of the
PharmD (Clinical Pharmacy) Program and Quality
and Community Engagement Coordinator
• Assoc. Prof. Ehab Abdel Hay, Director of
Engineering Programs and International Students
Coordinator
• Mr. Mohamed Anwar, Administrative Officer,
Faculty of Pharmacy

Notably, the Akhbar El Youm Higher
Education Fair provided a unique platform for
prospective students—ranging from general
secondary school students, students with equivalent
Arab and foreign certificates, technical diploma
holders, and higher institute graduates—to explore a
wide range of academic programs and disciplines
offered by top Egyptian institutions. It also offered
expert guidance on admission requirements, program
selection, and career alignment, helping students
make informed decisions about their educational
futures.
