“PSA Kickoff: The Geniuses Program – Season One”
The Geniuses Program at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mansoura National University,
was launched under the patronage of Prof. Cherif Khater, University President, and
led by Assoc. Prof. Ahmed El-Sheakh, Director of Pharm D program (Clinical
Pharmacy), with the supervision of Dr. Bassant Maher, Coordinator of the Pharmacy
scientific Association (PSA). As part of the university’s continuous efforts to enrich
student life, the program was designed to be a pioneering scientific competition that
promotes academic excellence, teamwork, and innovation.
The Geniuses program was launched as an educational platform for students to
test their knowledge in diverse fields while building critical thinking, teamwork, and
creativity. Its first season featured four competitive episodes that highlighted both
students’ skills and the strong organizational efforts of the supporting committees.

in new and innovative ways.
• Fostering positive competition in a healthy and motivating academic atmosphere.
• Strengthening teamwork and cooperation among participants as they worked
together under pressure.
• Developing quick response and decision-making abilities, essential for both
academic and professional success.
• Creating an enjoyable educational environment that blended learning with
excitement and creativity.

Episode One – A Strong Beginning
The season opened with an energetic first episode, held in Hall 116 at the Faculty of
Pharmacy. Two enthusiastic teams, El-Mazareta and +90, competed in a series of
rounds covering general knowledge, science, chemistry, biology, and problem-solving
