Pharmaceutical Technology Course – Level 3
“3D Modeling of Pharmaceutical Equipment: From Theory to Digital

                                                         Reality”

In alignment with Mansoura National University’s strategy to integrate digital tools into

pharmaceutical education, final-year students of the Pharmaceutics Department participated in
a practical technology-based activity within the Pharmaceutical Technology course. This
initiative introduced students to 3D modeling, digital animation, and applied pharmaceutics,
bridging the gap between theoretical diagrams and real-world pharmaceutical equipment. The
primary objective was to strengthen students’ ability to visualize, operate, and explain
pharmaceutical equipment through interactive models, thereby enhancing both comprehension
and technical skills relevant to industry practice.

               Project Objectives

                   1. Pharmaceutical Knowledge Development: Equip students with a deeper understanding
                       of emerging pharmaceutical technologies.
                   2. Practical Skills: Enable students to transform static diagrams into functional 3D digital
                       models.
                   3. Problem-Solving & Innovation: Shift learning from imagination to interactive digital
reality, improving creativity and critical thinking.
                   4. Collaboration & Leadership: Promote teamwork and project management by
coordinating group efforts and meeting deadlines.

               Project Implementation

                   • 3D Modeling: Students designed detailed 3D
                       models of assigned equipment.
                   • Poster Design: Each team prepared posters
                       including equipment name, 2D diagrams,
                       operation, and pharmaceutical applications.
                   • Animation Video: Groups produced short
videos explaining step-by-step operations of the
                       equipment.
                   • Presentation: Models, posters, and videos
                       were showcased for peer-to-peer learning.
