Physical Pharmacy Course- level 1


                  “Innovative 3D Modeling Activity Brings Physical Pharmacy Principles to
                                               Life for Level 1 Students”




               Under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Heba A. El Agamy
               (Associate  Professor  of  Pharmaceutics),  along  with  Dr.
               Ghada Ahmed El-Emam,  Dr. Randa Hanie Awadeen,
               and a dedicated team of assistant and teaching assistants,
               Level 1 pharmacy students embarked on a unique hands-
               on project titled “Physical Pharmacy Modeling Activity:
               Visualizing  Pharmaceutical  Principles  through  3D
               Models” for the academic year 2024/2025.


               The  project  was  an  integral  component  of  the  Physical
               Pharmacy  course,  designed  to  bridge  the  gap  between
               theoretical  knowledge  and  practical  understanding.
               Students were tasked with designing and constructing 3D
               models  that  represent  fundamental  physical  pharmacy
               concepts.  The  primary  aim  was  to  enable  students  to
               visualize  complex  pharmaceutical  principles  in  an
               interactive and creative manner. Adding to the excitement,
               an  educational  video  was  provided  to  guide  students
               through the project steps, while photos and videos of the
               students’  presentations  were  captured,  showcasing  their
               creativity and enthusiasm.


                                                           This innovative modeling activity has proven to be
                                                           an invaluable educational tool, transforming passive
                                                           learning  into  an  engaging,  student-centered
                                                           experience  that  promotes  deeper  understanding,
                                                           critical thinking, and professional growth from the
                                                           very start of their academic journey.
